Scott Hospital is a health facility of the LECSA church situated at Morija aiming to render top quality and holistic health care to patients from surrounding communities and referring health facilities. Scott hospital invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of:
Job Title : Primary Health Care Coordinator (PHCC)
Grade : H
Responsible to : Manager Hospital Nursing Services
Department : Nursing
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐:
To coordinate and manage the administrative Primary Health Care services at the Hospital and the Health Centres to ensure quality care.
๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐:
As a senior member of the Primary Health Care, the PHCC will be responsible for the provision of health care services in the community of the Scott Health Service Area (catchment area) and the Scott Health Centres to ensure the effective delivery of such services. He/she will be responsible for the PHC management and coordination; He/she should be able to recommend for the development of PHC personnel.

- Supervision
- PHC and health centre management
- Coordination of PHC activities
- Patient and client care
๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐:
- Degree in General nursing and Midwifery plus Post graduate diploma in Primary Health Care plus 3 yearsโ experience in managerial position.
- Computer literacy
- Up to date Registration with Lesotho Nursing Council (LNC)
- Professional affiliation with the Lesotho Nurses Association (LNA)
- Excellent communication skills
- Awareness and knowledge of PHC issues
- Experience in delivery of in-service training
