Overview
Leribe English Medium School invites applications from suitably qualified and passionate individuals for the position of Pre‑School Teacher (Grade R).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging early childhood learning activities
- Create a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support learners’ emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development
- Monitor and assess learners’ progress and provide feedback to parents
- Prepare teaching aids and learning materials
- Maintain discipline and promote positive behaviour among learners
- Participate in school programmes, meetings, and co‑curricular activities
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should:
- Possess a recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Pre‑School Education
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be patient, caring, creative, and energetic
- Be able to work effectively with young children and parents
- Previous teaching experience will be an added advantage
- Be registered with the relevant education authorities
