About the Position
Annabelle Preschool and Daycare, the sister school of Providere Academy, invites applications from four motivated, caring, and enthusiastic individuals for the position of Pre-School Assistant Teacher.
This opportunity is suitable for aspiring early childhood educators who want to gain practical experience and develop the skills needed for a future career in pre-school education. Previous teaching experience is not required. Successful candidates will work under the guidance of experienced teachers on a two-year fixed-term contract.
Minimum Requirements
- A certificate or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education or a Diploma in Education.
- No previous teaching experience is required.
- A genuine interest in working with young children.
- Patience, kindness, and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to children’s safety, hygiene, wellbeing, and development.
- Willingness to receive training and guidance from experienced teachers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
- Support children’s learning, play, and social development.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised classroom.
- Assist children with personal care and hygiene, where appropriate.
- Supervise learners during playtime, meals, and other school activities.
- Follow school policies, instructions, and child safeguarding procedures.
