- Drive high availability, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery readiness across the infrastructure estate.
- Manage access security, environmental systems, power, cooling, and connectivity infrastructure across Data Centres, exchange sites, and BTS sites.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, security, and operational standards required for government and banking environments.
- Lead incident management, risk mitigation, and operational governance—escalating to the NOC and senior leadership as required.
- Manage vendor relationships, SLA performance, infrastructure audits, and long-term capacity planning.
- Develop design specifications for new sites and upgrades, covering foundations, towers, earthing, grid connections, energy storage, rectifiers, generators, solar, and HVAC systems.
- Research emerging tower, data centre, and power technologies that reduce OPEX and improve resilience.
- Lead and develop the power operations team, setting objectives, managing performance, and arranging training.
- Prepare and manage sectional CAPEX/OPEX budgets, resource utilisation reports, and financial analysis for Head of Operations approval.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
- 4–6 years’ experience in technical operations, data centre management, or a comparable critical infrastructure environment.
