Post-Harvest Production Lead

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Post-Harvest Production Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing all post-harvest activities, including harvesting, trimming, drying, curing, packaging, and inventory tracking. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of post-harvest processes, quality control standards, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the post-harvest workflow
• Ensure that all processes are compliant with the QMS and Health & Safety standards
• Supervise drying and trimming teams to ensure efficiency and consistency
• Maintain batch control and traceability
• Collaborate with Cultivation, Operations, and Quality teams to manage and improve processes
• Coordinate the packaging and storage of finished product
• Ensure that:
o All post-harvest operations are performed as per SOPs and Production Batch Records
o All production documentation is completed with full traceability and data integrity
o Production targets are met while complying with regulatory standards and specifications
o All production personnel are trained for the tasks they perform
o Hygiene and master schedules are followed

Job Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in post-harvest processing or production, preferably in cannabis or agriculture
• Strong knowledge of drying, curing, trimming, and packaging best practices
• Ability to follow and develop detailed SOPs and maintain accurate records
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., batch tracking, weight recording)
• Experience with inventory management systems or seed-to-sale tracking software
• Supervisory or team lead experience is an advantage
• Passion for quality control and process improvement
• Degree or diploma in Horticulture, Plant Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field
