We currently have an opportunity for a Controller to join our Controlling Team, reporting to the Manager Planning/Controlling & Portfolio Risk Management.
Requirement Overview:
To provide management reporting function to various stakeholders in compliance to the Company’s related Policies, Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
- To manage and perform the monthly management reporting, including quality checks, analysis of variances, providing of commentary and feedback on queries.

To manage and perform the annual operative planning, bi-annual forecasts and monthly update procedures.

To conduct controlling variance analysis and come up with measures to close any identified gaps and help steer the company in the desired strategic direction.

Monitor cost centre allocations, budget variances and investigations.

Prepare for the monthly pricing committee in conjunction with Sales & Marketing.

Provide input to ad hoc projects in conjunction with other departments.

Complete the accounting submission (MIF) in conjunction with the accounting department for the operative plan and bi-annual forecasting.

Education
Matric/Grade 12
Plus 3 year relevant qualification e.g. B Com in Financial / Treasury or IT related Degree / Diploma or numerical related degree advantageous
Previous work experience within a financial institution is advantageous
