Lesotho Fashion Week is looking for a young, passionate and dynamic photographer, videographer and content creator who is keen to learn and develop their photography and videography skills in an exciting fashion and beauty environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project manager on various, innovative and exciting projects.
This position will start off as an internship with the potential of being full time.
DELIVERABLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting the Project Manager with planning, setting up and executing shoots on location and in the studio;
• Photography website product shots;
• Photography portrait website shots;
• Taking short, simple yet creative commercial videos for social media;
• Conceptualizing and shooting fashion films;
• Conceptualizing and shooting long fashion talk shows;
• Editing videos and images and submitting as per specified deadlines;
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Relevant tertiary academic record in photography and videography;
• Naturally creative with a good eye for fashion and beauty;
• Ability to creatively incorporate traditional Basotho culture into modern pop culture;
• Familiarity with professional cameras and lighting equipment;
• Must have a DSLR camera with an interchangeable lens;
• Detailed knowledge of modern photography and videography techniques;
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite or similar software;
