The TB elimination Pharmacist is expected to manage the high volume health facility (HVHF) medication inventory, ensuring the proper storage, dispensing, and tracking of TB drugs in alignment with treatment protocols.
Duties and Responsibilities
โข Be the focal person for supply and management of TB commodities at HVHF
โข Ensure storage and handling of TB commodities comply with pharmaceutical standard operating procedures
โข Develop order and supply schedule, prepare and issue medicines and medical supplies to the HVHF
โข Ensure collection, reporting, analysis and submission of supply chain data for TB program for the HVHF
โข Monitor good dispensing practices and provide information on TB medicines to health professionals and the public
โข Attend and participate in relevant meetings and workshops to represent the organization
โข Perform and undertake other official duties as required by the Project Manager and District Pharmacy Officer
Minimum Skills and Qualification
โข Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
โข 2 years’ experience working in a clinical setting
โข Work experience in TB is an added advantage
โข Strong interpersonal and communication skills
โข Experience working with computers; good command of Microsoft Word and basic computer functions for data entry
โข Current registration and updated license with the Lesotho Medical, Dental and Pharmacy Council
