Paballong HIV/AIDS Care Centre is a non-profit organisation based at Ha Senekane in the Berea Plateau. We invite suitably qualified and suitable candidates for the following vacant positions:
POSITION: Pharmacy Technician (1)
PURPOSE / JOB DESCRIPTION
- To prepare, dispense, educate patients, package and label and administer drugs and medicines and contribute to the patient care
- To manage the medicinal inventory by sourcing, procuring, restocking, receiving, tracking and maintaining records
- To collaborate with other clinic and centre staff to ensure patients receive care -To educate patients on how to effectively take medication, identify their site-effects and how to take precautions while on treatment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A diploma in Pharmacy and at least three (3) years’ post qualification experience
- Membership to a relevant professional association/ body will be an added advantage
