Napkin Finance is a rapidly growing startup that produces multimedia on financial topics for our flagship website, www.NapkinFinance.com, and for select clients in the financial services industry. Our motto is: “Everything about money, in 30 seconds or less.”
Napkin Finance is looking for an exceptional personal finance writer to help us put together our book! We have secured a book deal with a major publisher, and need help with writing new content, rewriting existing articles and overall development and organization. This project is expected to last about one year, but if you are a good fit with the Napkin voice and style we expect to have additional projects on an on-going basis.
The successful candidate will be:
- An expert on many personal finance topics. You already know the difference between a percent and a percentage point, price return and total return, and FICO and FICA.
- A gifted wordsmith. You can explain complex financial topics in plain English, but also write with flair and occasional humor.
- Brimming with ideas for breaking up content. We never write essays, so be prepared to come up with plenty of ideas for lists, charts, tables, images and more to keep readers engaged.
- A stickler for precision and accuracy. We write with a sassy, millennial-friendly voice, but we never sacrifice accuracy for style.
This is an excellent chance to make a real impact on a unique and exciting project.
