“PC FM will grow to greater heights and ensure acceptable dividends to its shareholders, patrons and the nation at large.”

The above words were from the Station manager Khauta Mpeqa, as he expressed gratitude to the business community which he said has been nothing short of supportive to PC FM over the expired two decades.

In continuation, he eloquently outlined how PC FM remains committed to working hard, extending broadcast coverage, enhancing capacity and usage of ICT, social and electronic media, ensuring unparalleled exposure of our business partner’s brands, to marketing clients aggressively and exposing their clients to new markets.

Of matching significance was the two assurances. The first being that PC FM will not only endeavour to find remedies and solutions to challenges speedily but give real time reports to clients and patrons to boot.

The second was that PC FM will strengthen its relationship with its listeners and the business community, with appreciation for the fact that PC FM would not have made it this far without their much valued support.

PEOPLE’S Choice FM, famously known as PC FM: Ha Ntat’ae celebrated 20 years of meritorious existence at a splendid event at Maseru Avani.

The celebration was a magnet of VIP attendance by the likes of Hon. Samonyane Ntsekele, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Hon. Machesetsa Mofomobe who represented the Minister of Communications, Hon. Thesele Maseribane.

Founder and director of the station, Motlatsi Majara, specified that he was excited that the station has withstood the test of time and violent storms such as the notorious Sephetho over the past two decades.

Needless to point out, Majara expressed gratitude to rainbow coloured entities that joined hands with them and pulled them back to their feet in the rebuilding process. Moreover, there were donations from good-natured individuals such as Mr Thabo Kou.

Majara pronounced that when he founded the station along with his partners, their dream was to start a station for young people. Notwithstanding their experience, they made several mistakes which threatened the business and contributed to their growth and wisdom.

He further out-poured his  thankfulness to everyone who was patient in building the station into a reputable brand. Within the gritty bunch, broadcasters Matsepe Masale, Mpiti Taole, Motlatsi Ramokoena and many others who taught him about radio were called by name.
