What you’ll be working on as our People & Talent Coordinator

We’re looking for a People & Talent Coordinator to help with our hiring and onboarding processes. This role will be part-time (20 hours per week) with a working schedule to be agreed upon with the HR Manager

Here are some of the things you’ll be doing in your first year at Filestage:

  • You’ll play a key role in supporting the HR Manager and all of the Filestage team, throughout the employee lifecycle, giving you insights into everything HR at Filestage.
  • You’ll be actively involved in the whole hiring process, conducting screening interviews, filtering CVS and setting up interviews with different members of the team, giving you the opportunity to learn about all stages in the recruiting process.
  • You’ll act as the key point of contact during the pre-onboarding stage, handling all communication with future hires, getting them ready for their first day and answering any questions they may have.
  • You’ll ensure new hires have a smooth start in our team, overcoming logistical challenges for hardware and equipment challenges for our international team, as well as ensuring they are welcomed into the company culture.
  • You’ll work on your own creative projects in HR and be able to adapt quickly, whether it be on remote social events, helping plan our company retreat or doing research on new HR tools that can help the team.

Life at Filestage

We believe people are more productive when they can choose their own schedule. So we’re proud to offer fully remote roles that give you the perfect balance between work and life.

Here are some of the benefits you can look forward to at Filestage:

  • Work from where you’re happiest and enjoy a flexible schedule. We’ve been fully remote from the start, giving you the opportunity to meet people all over the world and broaden your horizons.
    • For this role, we’re looking for someone based in Europe (or can work European timezone) to make sure there’s a high time overlap with our team members.
  • Meet up in real life. We all travel together at least once a year (in normal times) at our team retreat to have fun and get to know each other. This will be part of your role to help organise this fantastic retreat!
  • Enjoy a strong team culture. We’re a group of knowledge seekers, reflective thinkers, clear communicators, goal owners, problem solvers, and team players. These are the values we strive for to help us achieve our mission.
  • Join a happy team. We’ve been rated five stars on Glassdoor by our lovely team. You can take a look at our reviews here.
  • Create a workspace that suits you. You’ll get a €1,500 budget for hardware, as well as €500 for home office to buy whatever you need to do your best work – including a computer, webcam, or standing desk.
  • Get 36 days of holiday. Plenty of time for city breaks, summer escapes, and everything in between. You’ll also get a half-day on your birthday to give you a chance to celebrate!
  • Continue to grow and develop your career. We care about your development and want you to be able to learn new things! After six months in the company, you’ll get a budget to be able to use for personal development.
  • Make your voice heard. We trust our team members to make the best decisions to achieve their goals, so you won’t have to put up with micromanagers here.
  • Say goodbye to pointless meetings. We practice what we preach when it comes to productivity, so you can expect flat hierarchies, fast iterations, and no bullshit meetings.

What you’ll bring to the role

You have at least 2 years of experience working in a similar or junior HR role. Now you’re looking for a new and exciting challenge that has a huge (and positive) impact on the way people work to further your career in Talent Acquisition and HR.

Here are some of the things we’d like to see from you:

  • You have experience working in a fully remote or remote-first environment. You know the challenges faced with having a highly distributed team and understand how to overcome them.
  • You want to expand your experience in recruitment and talent acquisition. You already have experience in hiring new team members- whether it be in CV filtering, sourcing or interviewing- and want to continue to develop to become an expert, working closely with our HR Manager.
  • You enjoy working with and learning about different cultures. You’ve worked in international teams and know that the key to success is having an organically diverse team. You know that how people do business in different countries varies significantly and can adapt to different ways of working.
  • You work well with lots of questions and few answers. No problem is too big or too hard. You are most productive when ambitious goals are clearly set and you can choose your own path to reach them.
  • You have strong organizational skills and are very self-driven. You roll your sleeves up to get things done and are extremely proactive in making Filestage a great place to work, and enjoy working independently without micromanagement
  • You’re a strong communicator and enjoy dealing with people. You don’t get bogged down or stressed after having lots of different conversations, and can deliver messages in the right way to the right people.
  • You’re 100% fluent in English. Other language skills such as German, French or Spanish are a plus too.
