Background

Sentebale is an organisation working in Lesotho and Botswana to support the most vulnerable children and young people to lead healthy and productive lives. The Charity was founded in 2006 by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Prince Seeiso following Prince Harry’s gap year to Lesotho in 2004. Sentebale tackles both the symptoms and root causes of HIV/AIDS through four programme areas providing support and awareness, enabling advocacy and promoting empowerment. Sentebale has a particular focus on HIV/AIDS and aims to make a real difference in children’s lives helping them to be more resilient, self-sufficient and have the chance to thrive.
