Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation (EGPAF) is a USA based Organization with public health programs around the World. It creates a future of hope for children and families worldwide by eradicating pediatric AIDS, providing care and treatment for people with HIV and AIDS, and accelerating the discovery of new treatments for other serious and life threatening pediatric illnesses. EGPAF’s work is funded through private donations, PEPFAR via the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Centre for Disease Control (CDC)), Unit aid etc.
JOB SUMMARY
The PEA-WILL Nurse under the supervision of Evaluation Officer will:
- Work hand in hand with facility clinical staff in selection and enrollment of the mother infant pairs.
- Work closely with the clinical staff in follow-up of the mother-infant pairs
- Work closely with facility staff to ensure accurate and complete recording of data on facility registers.
- Oversee all implementation/operation research activities at the Health facility level.
- Use the study data collection forms and logs to abstract data from clinic registers, forms and charts that are used in the routine care of pregnant women.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Registration with the Lesotho Nursing Council as a Nurse Midwife
Required double -qualified nurse in nursing and midwifery
Clinical work experience in maternity and MCH services
