Seeq is an advanced analytics application for use by engineers, scientists, and subject matter experts (SMEs) in the analysis of IIoT, process manufacturing and utility data sets. Seeq is venture funded and growing rapidly, and while its official headquarters are in Seattle, Washington, it is a virtual company so every employee lives and works where they are, across United States as well as in Asia and Europe.

Seeq is seeking a candidate to work with Seeq’s Director of Cloud Partnerships, Head of Worldwide Partner Sales, and Director of Marketing to drive business results with the leading public cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft) and Seeq’s reseller channel in its growing cloud-based business offerings as IaaS (customer’s tenant) and SaaS offerings on public clouds (for example, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform), industrial clouds (for example, Siemens Mindsphere, GE Predix, Wonderware Cloud, Honeywell Cloud) and IIoT platforms (for example, Cognite).

The Partner Operations Manager will create and manage joint sales programs with partners to increase Seeq awareness to build a growing sales pipeline. Key skills for success include relationship building, program management, data management, and execution. Close collaboration and consensus-building with marketing, account management, partner organizations, and sales will be critical for success.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in at least 1 if not all of these subject matter areas: Seeq customers, Seeq use cases, and relevant technologies. Seeq customers include all process manufacturing industries such as oil & gas, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals, plus IIoT and some discrete manufacturing scenarios. Second, the variety of use cases for Seeq includes predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, diagnostic analytics, asset optimization, and plant efficiency. And third, experience and expertise in cloud and modern software technologies, such as big data, machine learning, and open source software markets.

Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, writing, analytics and presentation skills, business acumen. Most importantly they must want to drive KPIs, demand, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Partner Program Management: own management of the AWS and MSFT partner programs including technical and business requirements and partnership benefits.
  • Cloud Partner Lead Registration/Co-Sell Process Management: lead registration and management in cloud provider tools, general cloud lead management, and initial sales communications with cloud sellers, Seeq sales executives, and account managers.
  • Cloud Marketplace: own responsibility for transaction, revenue management, and reporting
  • Manage cloud training and readiness programs for Seeq VAR (Value Added Reseller) and services partners
  • VAR Partner Management:
    • Coordinating contracts, onboarding and offboarding of VAR partners
    • Tracking and reporting on partner progress in partner’s named account list
  • Coordinate lead distribution to partners and reporting on outcomes
  • Manage Seeq participation in partner co-sell activities and regular co-sell meetings and communications with partners (ex. win wires, newsletters)
  • Execute campaigns to drive Seeq demand generation through VARs and cloud partners
  • Innovate ways to deliver partner and cloud programs that provide value to customers and partners including process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Define and drive KPIs to increase GTM efforts to drive demand and engagement
  • Provide continuous and proactive proposals to exceed program goals

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of partner marketing, sales operations or channel management experience
  • 4-year college degree, preferably in sales, marketing, business, or related field
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with partners and colleagues
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills – including written, interpersonal and public speaking
  • Implement cross-company and cross-team processes and measuring/reporting success
  • Highly motivated with the ability to learn quickly and to exceed expectations
  • Organized with strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft or AWS Partner programs or partner co-selling
  • Experience working with a team of sales professionals in sales campaigns that include pre/post sales engineering, sales executives, marketing, professional services, etc.
  • Availability for some travel (Seeq is a virtual company so you can work from anywhere)
  • Possess entrepreneurial spirit or worked in a fluid (start- up) environment
  • Highly motivated with the ability to learn quickly and to exceed expectations
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Experience working with virtual teams and/or management a plus
