Job Title: Paramedic Tutor
The College of Paramedics and Fire Engineering is seeking a dedicated Paramedic Tutor with a degree in Paramedic Studies to contribute to the development of future paramedics. As a Paramedic Educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the education and training of aspiring prehospital care providers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Enhancement: Collaborate on the refinement and advancement of the paramedic training curriculum, ensuring alignment with national EMS standards and best practices.
2. Pedagogical Delivery: Deliver captivating didactic lectures, dynamic clinical skill demonstrations, and immersive simulation scenarios to nurture students’ clinical acumen.
3. Formative and Summative Assessment: Administer formative evaluations and summative appraisals to gauge students’ cognitive and psychomotor proficiencies, guiding their educational journey.
4. Mentorship: Offer clinical and professional mentorship, cultivating students’ resilience and resourcefulness as they progress in their paramedic education.
5. Professional Development: Remain current with evolving paramedic protocols, evidence-based practices, and innovative pedagogical strategies to continually enhance the educational experience.
Qualifications:
– Degree or in Paramedic Studies.
– Active Paramedic Certification.
– Previous experience in pedagogy or instructional design is advantageous.
– Exceptional communication and instructional aptitude.
– A fervent commitment to shaping proficient paramedic practitioners.
