Paint / Coating Inspector at SUN JV

SUN JV (a joint venture among SINOHYDRO BUREAU 8 CO., LTD, SINOHYDRO BUREAU 14 CO., LTD., UNIK CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD., and NTHANE BROTHERS PTY LTD.) is the Contractor for the Construction of Polihali Dam and Appurtenant Works for the Lesotho Highlands Water Project – Phase II.

SUN JV is constructing a concrete-faced rockfill dam at Polihali, approximately 1 km downstream of the confluence of the Khubelu and Senqu Rivers, and a Saddle Dam.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Paint/Coating Inspector

Requirements:

• AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector, NACE Coating Inspector (Level 1 or higher), or an equivalent internationally recognised coating/paint inspection certification (e.g. FROSIO).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in coating inspection on dam construction or other large infrastructure projects.
• Must be able to inspect surface preparation and coating application in accordance with project specifications and international standards.
• Conduct coating inspections and non-destructive testing using relevant inspection equipment.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Strong understanding of coating systems, corrosion prevention, and quality assurance procedures.
• Certificate of Competency must be valid at the time of application.
