Position: Ophthalmic Nurse
Mamohau Hospital is a Roman Catholic institution based in the Malibamatso catchment area. The Hospital is currently looking for a qualified and customer-centric candidate to fill the position below. Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for providing care for patients suffering from disorders of the eye. She/He will diagnose and treat various diseases that affect the human eye, such as cataracts, partial or full blindness, eye trauma, and glaucoma.
The incumbent will be responsible for gathering patients’ medical histories and performing assessments to develop a better understanding of patients’ health profiles. She/He will work with patients in a variety of settings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to review patients’ health conditions periodically, assess progress, and ensure that high-quality care is provided.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Ophthalmic Nursing
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the field
- Registered with the Lesotho Nursing Council
