Position: Operations Manager
Location: Lesotho

The company is seeking a dynamic and highly capable Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership across its core departments. The successful candidate will serve as the operational backbone of the organisation, responsible for streamlining production, overseeing administrative compliance, maintaining financial discipline, and driving sales and marketing initiatives. The role also plays a key part in supporting the company’s expansion into regional and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Plant & Production
- Oversee end-to-end production operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), quality control standards, and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement across the production plant.
Administrative Oversight
- Manage organisational policies and procedures.
- Oversee human resources administration.
- Maintain internal documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, health, and safety requirements.
Financial Control
- Manage daily cash collections.
- Monitor operational budgets.
- Oversee inventory of raw materials and finished stock.
- Promote cost efficiency and provide financial oversight and reporting.
Sales & Marketing Strategy
- Coordinate with the sales team to strengthen client retention.
- Develop and implement market growth strategies.
- Expand the company’s market presence.
- Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and support departmental heads.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Promote continuous professional development across teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a managerial role.
- Experience within the FMCG or food and beverage manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across Administration, Finance, Sales, and Operations.
- Strong business and commercial acumen.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
