Full Time Position
OnePower (1PWR) is seeking a Maseru-based Operations and Maintenance Supervisor. This position involves responsibility for operational workflow, asset management and customer relations, reporting to C-Level managers to provide support for OnePower renewable energy projects in the operations phase.
Core responsibilities include development and implementation of O&M plans in compliance with O&M contracts; routine monitoring of asset performance via SCADA; scheduling, logistics planning, executing, validating and logging corrective and preventative measures at sites; direct and remote supervision of 1PWR service technicians and contractors performing O&M at field sites; maintenance of spare parts and tools inventory; updating documentation of standard operating procedures and generating performance reports.
Required skills and qualifications:
methodical, detail-oriented organizational skills;
timely and sound decision making in a busy and complex operating environment
familiarity with business software (Office) and CAD, SCADA tools
understanding of electric power generation, distribution and metering, circuit protections, and solar PV-battery and backup generator technical operation fundamentals for high level fault troubleshooting
legal and technical aspects of contract terms and conditions
strong interpersonal skills for supervision of and interface with internal teams (O&M, construction, finance, EHS) and external contractors and stakeholder
strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Sesotho
