JOB PURPOSE:
To provide appropriate and relevant resources to banking services in a professional, efficient and friendly manner in order to make all LPB Retail and other Departments work stations habitable and meet the standards of institution’s requirements. This position is responsible for managing daily operations for organization while ensuring overall efficiency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Formulates procurement sectional strategy in line with the operations strategy.
• Ensures all operations are carried on in an appropriate and cost-effective way;
• Improves operational management systems, processes and best practices;
• Helps the organization’s processes remain legally compliant;
• Ensures that Divisional staff has been provided with relevant procedures and resources to carry out their daily operations in a reliable, effective and safe manner;
• Monitors that processes are implemented and are periodically reviewed and recommendations made to the relevant Committees for amendment in order to accommodate the new changes;
• Determines that quality and safety requirements are procured in accordance with the Bank’s needs based on the governing policies and regulations;
• Carries out ad-hoc visits to LPB remote branches in order to ascertain that business has adequate resources;
• Promotes culture of quality work in the division in supporting branches and other Bank departments;
• Ensure appropriate and satisfactory systems are procured in time to facilitate smooth running of the business;
• Produces monthly management reports;
• Attends to all Departmental meetings;
• Attends to all Risk Champion Committee meeting;
• Participates in the Bank’s projects and opening of new branches by ensuring that all the necessary resources are available;
• Liaises closely with managers of various divisions for provision of necessary resources for operations;
• Oversee the activities of Assets and Logistics Division;
• Manages Bank Records, Stationery and Fixed Assets.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor of Business Administration, Bcomm in Accounting or Management or related business qualification;
• Three to five years’ experience in managerial position.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Ability to build relationship with multiple stakeholders;
• Sound knowledge of LPB Branches and operations;
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and be a team player;
• Professionalism;
• Must possess problem solving, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
• Self-starter and change catalyst;
• Decision making ability.
