Centre for Positive Care (CPC) is a Non-Profit Organization working in three provinces namely Limpopo, Gauteng and North West. CPC vision is to contribute to the improvement of quality of life of vulnerable communities in South Africa. To achieve the vision, CPC empowers vulnerable communities in South Africa to prevent infectious diseases such as TB, HIV&AIDS and STIs, promote Human Rights Protection for Children, Youth and families as well as promoting positive Living and Economic strengthening.

CPC work promotes and supports the National Strategic Plan of South Africa in reducing HIV, STI and TB as well as ensuring greater participation and involvement of the targeted beneficiaries in community systems strengthening and reproductive health and rights services

CPC seeks to employ Operational Manager X who will be based in Sibasa, Limpopo Province and the person will be managing all CPC districts covered.

Report to: Management / The Director.

Requirements and experience:

Bachelor’s Degree required
At least 5 years’ relevant work experience required
Strong managerial experience required
Logistical or operational experience required
Monitoring and Evaluation experience preferred
Donor reporting experience preferred

Roles and responsibilities:
Operational Management:

Assist the Director and Management in facilitating the development of strategic plans and collective ownership and understanding of the plan by the programme teams.
Assist in the monitoring of the implementation of strategic objectives for the CPC
Assist the Executive Director and Management in maintaining and review of the organisational culture that supports the overall organizational vision, mission and strategy.
Ensure ongoing reporting to the Director and management.
Identify and analyze gaps that need operational attention.
Contribute in reports writing.
Drive initiatives in the management team and organisationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence
Contribute to short and long-term organisational planning and strategy
Assist in proposal writing
Work very closely with all programme managers

Administrative Management:

Maintenance and management of all the CPC vehicles
Ensure all the vehicles have a proper and well documented log-books
With the help of administrator, ensure all the vehicles are serviced and on time
Through communicating with Programme Managers, ensure CPC Offices are well maintained and secured.
With help from Programme Managers, ensure all staff members laptops are properly recorded and each employee has signed for the assets in their possession.
Ensure that assets registers are updated on a regular basis.

Monitoring and Evaluation Management:

Ensure administration process are designed, implemented and supported to ensure efficient and effective practice.
Ensure team members have the data collection tools they need for every training / events.
Oversee the administration processes required to support the events and training activities such as data capturing, follow-ups, and communication processes

Operational planning:

Work closely with Supervisors to ensure that approved intervention strategies are implemented appropriately
Identify barriers to intervention and recommend responsive interventions to overcome these barriers;
Regular monitoring to ensure that ethical issues are respected and ethical norms appropriately applied.
