43
SPECIAL EVENT ALERT 17 January 2023!

It is becoming increasingly important for Peace and security professionals to learn about conflict sensitivity to better understand the potential unintended consequences of their actions in a conflict-affected context. This understanding can them to design and implement interventions that are more likely to be effective and to have a positive impact on the communities they are working with. Conflict sensitivity also helps professionals to anticipate and avoid actions that may exacerbate existing conflicts or create new ones. Join the UNSSC team and Peacebuilding Expert Josefine Roos for an Open Door Session to find out more about how our “Conflict-Sensitive Approaches to Programming” can support your work.
