OnePower Lesotho (1PWR) is seeking experienced individuals to play an integral role in organizational operation as the company continues to grow at a very fast pace. OnePower Lesotho, a startup Independent Power Producer (IPP), has been selected as the preferred developer of a utility scale solar PV power plant (first to be privately financed in Lesotho). In addition to on-grid solar OnePower was incorporated with a mission to develop bankable pay as you go (PAYG) solar mini-grids for community electrification and is currently in the execution phase of its Minigrids Portfolio.
Position: O&M Lead
The O&M Lead will be a leader with exceptional organizational skills who can anticipate and execute on business and technical needs in collaboration with management, who is both a forward thinker skilled in planning and creating a vision for the team and a high performer able to get things done while meeting quality standards and with timely adherence to deadlines.
Required skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree holder with a 5 years of work experience in Energy and/or Operations and Maintenance
- Integrity: you live your values and are an example to others
- Entrepreneurial: you are excited about contributing to building a company, and you will take ownership to make it happen
