Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Studies
  2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in User Education, information literacy skills and Library Management and Operations
  3. Strong IT Background

Job Responsibilities

  1. Library collection development and management
  2. Library circulation and reference services
  3. Marketing and promoting access and usage of e-resources in Maseru Campus
  4. Faculty liaison
  5. Electronic Resource management
  6. Carry out any other library related and institutional assignments

Skills and Competencies required:

  • Experience working in a team oriented and collaborative environment
  • Strong skills in using MS-Office, E-Library databases and Library Management Systems.
  • Knowledge or exposure to E- Library databases like EBSCOhost, ProQuest
  • Customer service orientation
  • Presentation skills
