Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Property Management Or relevant degree
  2. A minimum experience of 3 years in the related field at reputed Tertiary Institutions.
  3. Should have a good understanding and experience of academic quality assurance and quality management systems.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and perform regular and preventive building maintenance activities.
  2. Inspect buildings, equipment and appliances for functionality and ensure all identified maintenance issues are attended to in a timely manner.
  3. Assists in the requisitioning of maintenance supplies and materials in accordance with purchasing procedures to include purchase orders, receiving reports and check requests.
  4. Coordinates opening and closing of campus buildings at the beginning and end of the office hours, as necessary.
  5. Serves as alternate contact person for the campus during hours the campus is closed.
  6. Design plan and schedule for works to be executed on properties.
  7. Ensure that properties are safe and void of any danger to their occupants and visitors.
  8. Reviewing and attending to Safety and Security issues at Campus.
  9. Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies.
  10. Ensuring excellent quality of work
  11. Ensure Preparation and record keeping of necessary reports and data.
  12. Supervise and mentor subordinates and perform performance evaluations.

Skills and Competencies required:

  • Flexible, effective teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Ms Excel, Ms Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivator, self-disciplined and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • General maintenance skills
