Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Property Management Or relevant degree
- A minimum experience of 3 years in the related field at reputed Tertiary Institutions.
- Should have a good understanding and experience of academic quality assurance and quality management systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform regular and preventive building maintenance activities.
- Inspect buildings, equipment and appliances for functionality and ensure all identified maintenance issues are attended to in a timely manner.
- Assists in the requisitioning of maintenance supplies and materials in accordance with purchasing procedures to include purchase orders, receiving reports and check requests.
- Coordinates opening and closing of campus buildings at the beginning and end of the office hours, as necessary.
- Serves as alternate contact person for the campus during hours the campus is closed.
- Design plan and schedule for works to be executed on properties.
- Ensure that properties are safe and void of any danger to their occupants and visitors.
- Reviewing and attending to Safety and Security issues at Campus.
- Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies.
- Ensuring excellent quality of work
- Ensure Preparation and record keeping of necessary reports and data.
- Supervise and mentor subordinates and perform performance evaluations.
Skills and Competencies required:
- Flexible, effective teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Excellent people management skills
- Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Ms Excel, Ms Word and Powerpoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivator, self-disciplined and ability to work with minimal supervision
- General maintenance skills
