Job Purpose
- Designing project change management plans, engagement of required stakeholders, implementation of change management plans and agenda and submission of adequate reporting.
- To coordinate projects and changes within the Bank and collate management information to facilitate timely decision making on related aspects of change.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Designing Change Management Plans
• Defining scope of agile projects and the required changes within areas that would be impacted
• Describe measurement of timelines required to implement changes
• Engage Stakeholders regarding goals and objectives of required changes
• Coordinate training of staff for a successful change
• Implement and oversee all necessary changes
• Provide adequate reporting and communication for stages of required change
Performance Drive / Service Focus
• Harnessing change objectives and goals with existing departmental functions and processes
• Coordinating different stages defined for executing agile projects/features
• Winning the support of Management and Team Leads at delivering required changes
• Drive implementation and monitoring of successes and fallouts being experienced during change
• Submission of weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, periodic reports (as the case may be)
Sustain Change Implementation
• Organize training engagements when and where required
• Design feedback platform that would enhance continuous improvement
• Support Change and Enablement in redefining more efficient processes, designing improved process documentation methods and agile project implementation across the Bank
• Tracking of Bank financial Performance (actual spend versus budget) on change management budget for individual projects and collectively
• Perform detailed review and analysis of change management financials to confirm the integrity of reported results
Identification and Analysis of Risk
• Defining systems or control tools that would be used to implement successful changes, reduce or eliminate change failures
• Manage systems and tools that would ensure all change stages are delivered successfully and within agreed set timelines
• Create strategy to ensure change management is effectively implemented
• Proactively develop risk management dashboard to monitor, track and resolve identified risks around changes
• Research and proffer strategies for resolving foreseeable challenges that may emanate from human resistance to change
Reporting
• Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, periodic reports on all activities and stages of implemented changes
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- A Degree in Commerce, Psychology or Business Science
- A good appreciation of MIS and Business Process Management would be an added advantage
- Advanced degree in mentioned fields would be an added advantage
- Project Management certification as a strong reinforcement
- At least 5 years work experience in Change Management or Project Management (banking experience not mandatory but an advantage)
- Proven previous experience and ability to transfer knowledge
