Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Education or Psychology
- Masters in Career Counselling Or Educational Psychology
- A minimum of 3 years related experience in higher Secondary or Tertiary
- Long term experience in Career Counselling/ development would be an added advantage
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide full fledged career counselling
- Initiate, develop and conduct career psycho educational services to students
- Liaise with the University,industry and other stakeholders to help them to make informed career choices
- Provide information about trends and issues in career development and planning
- Provide relevant information on further education and scholarships, locally and externally
- Initiate and develop social media and print informational materials
- Maintain information in the career Resource Library
- Provide computerized career services and psychometric assessments
- Participate in professional community service
- Provide experiential career education on current job search strategies such as CV writing, interview skills including professional ethics
