Job Purpose

  • To provide office and administrative support to ensure smooth-running of card issuing business. Meet new account and card sales targets.
  •  Ensure all work is conducted accurately and timeously at the same time complying with customer requests as well as with laid down policies and procedures to minimise risk and costs.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Adopt Credit card usage 
  • Action dormant credit card accounts
  • Call customers that have not used their credit cards which have been issued within three months
  • Ensure that all renewal cards received are issued to customers to drive card activity
  • Notify customers whose credit cards have not been renewed
  • Ensure all applications forwarded to Centre have been captured within 3 days for efficient TAT
  • Ensure applications with input error are rescanned to meet the sales and improve on customer experience
  • Ensure all captured cards are received together with their PINs and delivered to respective Branches
  • Re-instate  debit orders for accounts with VD status where repayment ability is evident 
  • Ensure daily monitoring, investigation and addressing of marked POS liens
  • Track new accounts never used – to avoid sunk costs
  • Work directly with procurement in managing country card stock levels and ensuring that all service providers accounts are up to date
  • Document minutes for all engagements held with country card-stake holders
  • Deal with card complicated queries beyond CCC resolution.
  • Deal with email enquiries.

Preferred Qualification and Experience

  • Degree in Business related field
  • Minimum 2 years Banking experience
  • Experience in customer relationship management

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise

  • Business acumen
  • Computer literate
  • Highly proficient in MS Office
  • Product knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of business economics and the current business economic environment.
  • Knowledge of general banking practices and procedures.
