Officer-Assessments

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Information Systems, or Related qualification.
  • 1 year experience

Key Performance Areas:

  • Work in coordination with supervisor and other team members in assessments related operations, such as participating.
  • Using Assessments Calendar, Exam resource requirements register and Exam plan, preparing the relevant documents to smoothly conduct the examinations (which include external body examination)
  • Adhering to deadlines for Assignment creation in Turnitin (or any plagiarism detection software), Counselling of students
  • Provision of accurate and clear guidance and counselling for students that need assistance on Assessments and Academic Honesty
  • Assist students and staff on matters relating to proper academic writing, referencing and strategies to avoid plagiarism
  • Adhering to deadlines for all assessments operations.
  • All assessments documents and dashboard to be maintained as per the QMS for easy retrieval either in soft copies or hard copies
  • Quality Management
  • Customer Service
  • General: Commitment to growing and developing the university and its greater community
  • Any other ASR duties.
