The Road Fund was established by Legal Notice No. 179 of 1995, and regulated under the Finance (Road Fund) Regulations 2012, with the primary objective of providing a mechanism for progressive transformation of the road sector, whereby the fiscal burden for maintenance of roads is gradually being shifted from the Government to users of public roads. Overall management of the Fund rests with the Road Fund Board, which was established by Legal Notice No. 16 of 1996 whilst the day to day operations of the Fund are entrusted to the Secretariat.
The Road Fund Board therefore requires the services of a suitably qualified Lesotho National to fill the position of Office Assistant.
The incumbent is responsible for cleaning offices on a daily basis to maintain a healthy working environment and prepare refreshments for staff and visitors of the Road Fund.
Qualifications and Experience
• COSC/General Certificate of Education plus three (3) years of experience.
Salary will be in accordance with the Road Fund scales of remuneration, which are competitive and market related.
