Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned positions. The position is tenable at the Head Office in Maseru. The incumbent will be responsible to the Risk Manager in the Managing Director’s Office.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree in nursing and 5 years’ experience in occupational health
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
• Proven ability to keep confidentiality;
• In-depth knowledge of the Occupational Health discipline;
• Ability to work in fast placed team environment with minimal supervision;
• Good interpersonal and people skills;
• Good knowledge of national legislation, industry’s best practices and international standards pertaining to Occupational Health;
• Ability to communicate at all levels, Analytical, Reporting, Presentation, and Computer Skills;
• Possession of a valid driver’s license not less than 2 years driving experience.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The incumbent will be responsible for performing the following:
• To update Occupational Health Risk Profile;
• To coordinate Workers’ Health Surveillance;
• HIV & AIDS and other chronic illnesses Prevention and Impact Mitigation Programme;
• To coordinate Medical Aid Awareness ;
• To coordinate First Aid Administration and Monitoring;
• To coordinate Staff Rehabilitation;
• To coordinate workplace health insurance;
• To undertake Health Awareness Sessions.
