Role Description
We are recruiting for three (3) Occupational Health Nurse positions. These are full-time, on-site role located in Lesotho. The Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing medical care, health assessments, and emergency treatment to employees. Daily tasks include conducting health screenings, managing chronic illnesses, coordinating with medical facilities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also involves health education and promotion, as well as maintaining accurate health records and reports.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Occupational Health Nursing, along with a relevant Diploma in general nursing and other relevant certifications.
- Strong skills in medical care, including providing health assessments and emergency treatment
- Experience in managing chronic illnesses and conducting health screenings
- Ability to coordinate with medical facilities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Proficiency in health education and promotion
- Excellent record-keeping and report-writing abilities
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently in an on-site setting
- Experience in occupational health or a related field is highly preferred
