Job Title: O Sales Consultant
Division: Otis South Africa
Reporting to : Branch Manager
Branch: Durban
MAIN DUTIES
- Meeting with potential and existing clients to secure O Sales.
- Ensure 100% participation and submission on all tender documents.
- Maintain customer relations and grow the business of the company by recovering contracts.
- Ensure all sales targets are met as per company and individual plan.
- Understand the products for O Service Sales
- Apply sales strategies to ensure that sales targets are met.
- Establish prospective customers/clients and new target segment and penetrate sales in that area.
- Must be able to convert leads to sales through good communication, follow-ups and positive attitude.
- Participation in trade shows, exhibitions, networking with local associations to promote Otis Elevators and Escalators.
- Monitor the fluctuating market to establish competitors, latest innovation of the products.
- Understanding of latest elevator & escalator regulation in the elevator industry and apply regulations to product and to customer and update customer.
QUALIFICATIONS & POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Sales Certificate, Diploma or Degree
- Very good Microsoft Office knowledge, including Excel and Word
- High proficiency PowerPoint presentation to customers and to company.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a sales consultant would be an advantage.
- Technical experience a must in elevator.
