- REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant must have a minimum of MSc in Community Nutrition/ Nutrition with an undergraduate of Bachelor of Science in Nutrition; with a minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in institution(s) of higher learning. The applicant should have evidence of research experience with publications and/or research reports. Technical expertise in Community/Public Health Nutrition is an added advantage.
- DUTIES:
The successful appointee will be expected to:
o Teach; Community Nutrition, HIV/AIDS, Food Security and Nutrition courses in the Department of Nutrition
o Supervise students’ dissertations
o Engage in research and curriculum development including overseeing and developing of Community Nutrition practical sessions.
o Have good liaison with relevant professional bodies and community groups and/or professional practices
o Carry out community engagement
The candidate will also be expected to perform any other duties assigned to him/her by the department including administrative work.
- TYPE OF CONTRACT:
The appointment will be on Permanent and pensionable for locals and contract/gratuitable for non-locals subject to completion of probation
