Job Title : Nursing Sister-Male Clinic
Location : Maseru Clinic
Employment Type : Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Senior Nurse, the Nursing Sister will be responsible for effective and efficient implementation of the male clinic activities. Nursing Sister-Male Clinic will ensure that activities done in the clinic conform to the required standards and that no activities undermining the image of LPPA are performed.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implements the clinical aspects of the LPPA Male Clinic and the outreach activities.
• Keeps and maintains records of drugs, equipment and contraceptives used in the clinic.
• Provides counseling to clients and dispense appropriate drugs to clients.
• Undertakes monthly, quarterly, half year and annual reporting of the clinic activities and submit these to the Senior Nurse.
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor, which fall within the purview of the duties and responsibilities expected of the Nursing Sister.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
• Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery with at least 1 year experience as a Nursing Sister.
• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with at least 2 years’ experience as Nursing Sister.
• Clinical knowledge and practical skills in the areas of SRH and HIV and AIDS
• NGO experience is an added advantage

• Knowledge and commitment to Sexual and Reproductive Health.
• Maintenance of high professional and nursing ethical standards.
• Thorough knowledge of contraceptives management and counseling.
• Basic knowledge of record keeping.
• Ability to mobilize communities.
• Sensitive to socio-cultural values.
• Computer Literate.
