Scott Hospital has four Health Centres which include Masemouse Health Centre situated in Mohale’s Hoek. Scott hospital invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to apply for the positions of:
1. JOB TITLE : NURSING OFFICER/NURSE CLINICIAN
GRADE : G
RESPONSIBLE TO : PHCC
FACILITY : MASEMOUSE HEALTH CENTRE
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include planning, organising, co-ordinating and implementation of nursing care activities at the Health Centre. The incumbent is also responsible for special nursing services and supervision of staff under him/her. He/ She will be responsible for diagnosing of a health need and the prescribing, provision and execution of a nursing regimen to meet the needs of patients. He/ She should be familiar with organisational procedures, cultures and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Midwifery plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Nurse Clinician or any related field e.g. Community Health, Management in Nursing, PHC etc.
Degree in Nursing with five years clinical experience.
At least have two (2) years in a managerial position.
Must be registered with Lesotho Nursing Council as a Nurse and updated his/her annual subscription.
Must be a member of LNA
Experience working in a clinic will be an added advantage.
