DESCRIPTION: Paray School of Nursing seeks two (2) highly organised NURSE EDUCATORS. These people will be responsible for all theoretical and clinical teaching of Nursing and Midwifery students.
DUTIES:
• Implements the curriculum
• Promotes academic and professional growth of students
• Promotes personal and professional growth and development among students and faculty.
• Engages in research
• Engages in community engagement activities
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Education with two years clinical experience involving direct patient care.
OR
• Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery with a qualification in
Education/Preceptorship with minimum of two years clinical experience involving direct patient care.
AND
• Must be a registered Nurse Midwife
• Preceptorship training will be an added advantage.
• Past experience with teaching in simulation or student clinical and supervision will be an added advantage.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Computer literacy
• Innovative, analytic, interpretive and problem solving skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with faculty, students and other hospital staff.
• Mature and decisive
• Ability to work under pressure and still produce quality work.
• Knowledge of aspects of High Education Quality Assurance in Lesotho
SALARY: Commensurate with qualification
