Northern Region Correspondent

Africa Media Holdings is inviting applications for the position of Correspondent based in the northern region of Lesotho.
The successful candidate will be responsible for covering news and feature stories in Leribe and Butha-Buthe districts, with a particular focus on proceedings at the Tsifa-li-mali Court and other key regional developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, write, and file accurate, balanced, and engaging news reports from the northern region
- Provide regular coverage of Tsifa-li-mali Court proceedings
- Develop story ideas and maintain a network of reliable sources across various sectors
- Contribute stories suitable for both print and broadcast platforms
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in journalism, media studies, or a related field
- Experience in news reporting (court reporting experience will be an added advantage)
- Excellent command of both English and Sesotho
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Must be based in Leribe or Butha-Buthe
