SCHOLARSHIP NOTICE
2026/2027 – REPUBLIC OF CUBA MEDICINE AND PRIORITY STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP
(Bachelor’s Degree Programmes)
The Government of Cuba invites applications from suitable candidates to pursue Bachelor’s Degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year, tenable in Cuba, in the following disciplines:
Fields of Study
- Medicine
- Agricultural Engineering
- Agronomy Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
- Veterinary Medicine
Conditions for Application
- Candidate must be a Lesotho citizen
- Must be under 25 years of age
- Must have LGCSE (completed 2025) with an APS of 12, including Mathematics and Science
OR - A-Level (completed 2025) with a minimum APS of 30, including A-Level and AS subjects, with Mathematics and Science
Application Requirements
- Application letter addressed to Director – NMDS
- Copies of educational certificates from primary level to LGCSE or A-Level
- Police clearance
- Original certificate of health from a Government (Public) Hospital indicating:
- HIV-negative test
- Negative pregnancy test (for female applicants)
- TB, blood, general health, and hepatitis tests
