THE SCHOLARSHIP NOTICE
APPLICATIONS FOR NMDS BURSARY TO STUDY AT HEYDAR ALIYEN IN AZERBAIJAN FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026
The Government of The Republic of Azerbaijan through Heydar Aliyen offered the Government of Lesotho scholarships to study Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, General Medicine and Medical Residency Program to study at Republic of Azerbaijan this academic year and for the programs refer to RSA priority areas:
Programmes:
- Bachelor’s Program
- Master’s Program
- PhD Program
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Level
- IB Diploma
- National Senior Certificate (NSC)/ Matric, Admissible into Bachelor’s Degree.
Application Requirements:
- Undergraduate and General medicine program: foreign nationals below 35 years as of 15/09/2025.
- Graduate and medical residency: foreign nationals below 40 years as of 15/09/2025 and must have GPA 2.1 or above.
- Doctoral programs: foreign nationals below 45 years as of 15/09/2025.
- Copy of medical certificate (including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B/C tests).
- CV or Resume.
- Copy of valid passport.
- Copy of Diplomas and Transcripts from prior Higher School or Higher Education Institution.
- The Applicant must submit the documentation in PDF format.
- Employer’s nomination letter for employed applicants with application for study leave or be ready to resign upon offer of the bursary where applicable. The letter must state duration of employment.
- Proof of Loan Bursary repayment according to approved Loan Bursary Fund Repayment Criteria (for previously sponsored students).
Application Process:
- Online application form can be accessed on the following website: SIACAS website. If applicants face technical problems with the website, they can send emails to [email protected].
- All application documents should be hand delivered to NMDS Hall from 6th to 14th May 2025 at 11:00 am.
- All critical information pertaining to application conditions and requirements are printed and publicized. All questions regarding the application process should be forwarded to NMDS Hall only. Any errors that will impact the applicant’s eligibility for sponsorship will be the liability of the applicant.
- Consideration of each bursary application is subject to the condition that the applicant complied with and met all the requirements of this bursary.
- Acceptance of bursary application does not oblige to award a student a bursary.
