APPLICATIONS FOR AUSTRALIA AWARDS AFRICA SCHOLARSHIPS AND SHORT COURSES FOR 2021.
Kindly be advised that the Government of Australia invites candidates for short courses and Masters Degree programmes for 2021 in the following disciplines:
Agriculture
Agribusiness
Increasing the development impact of agricultural research.
Irrigation and Water Resource Management
Public Policy
Trade Policy and negotiations
Public- Private Infrastructure partnerships.
Ocean Management: Sustainable fisheries.
Extractives
Local Economic and Social Development in Extractives.
Mineral and energy economics.
Macroeconomics management in resource- rich countries.
Conditions:
• Applications are open to Lesotho Government Public Officials, Private sector (Professional only) and civil society sector.
• Applicant must be a citizen of Lesotho.
• Are proficient in English.
• Applicants must be between 25 and 50 years of age at the date of application.
• They must have at least three (3) years post-graduation work experience in a role relevant to the proposed field of study.
• Possess a minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognised Institution of at least three (3) years in length with a 2,2 level pass.
• Must commit to return to Lesotho and to the place of employment upon completion of studies.
Requirements:
• Application letter addressed to Director –NMDS
• CV detailing eligibility, personal and developmental ambitions and additional factors supporting one as an outstanding candidate.
• Original and certified copies of academic certificates and transcript
• Certified copy of National ID.
• Applicants who have been previously sponsored by NMDS should have paid 50% of previous Loan Bursary and should attach Loan Bursary statement.
• Nomination letter from Employer.
