Shout-It-Now (S-N) is a non-profit company, registered in South Africa, that has been active for 12 years providing a range of innovative community-based health services aimed at improving HIV prevention and care to achieve epidemic control among high risk South Africans.
Shout-It-Now seeks to appoint a Nimart Nurse, to join our teams based in
North West
Gauteng
3 x Ekurhuleni
2 x Tshwane
Reports to:Supervisor Team Leader.
The potential candidate must meet the following minimum criteria:
·NIMART Nurse qualification essential
NIMART Nurse Competency/Mentoring certificate
Dispensing qualification essential
Live in or originate from the district they are applying for
Ensure all test are carried out and clients initiated on PrEP as per protocol maintaining a high quality of service.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Sell PrEP on-site as required
Perform testing required for PrEP
Perform HIV Testing & Counselling
Maintain & update client records with plans, notes, appropriate forms, or related information
Recruit clients for services as required
Maintain a clean work area
Assist in all other areas as required
Assist with setup and takedown of the site
Any other duties as may reasonably be required by Team Leader
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
Relevant Nursing qualification
3 years experience
Nimart Nurse qualification
Nimart Nurse Competency/Mentoring certificate
A Dispensing qualification
Required:
Exhibits strong communication skills both verbal and written, essential for working with other employees
Previous HIV testing experience advantageous
Previous experience in initiating PrEP advantageous
Is detail-oriented
Works well with others
Exhibiting a high-level commitment to quality and client satisfaction
Empathetic
Good IT understanding and be able to work on a computer
