Project description

The programme “Support to Integrated Catchment Management (ICM) in Lesotho” – agreed between the Government of Lesotho and the EU Delegation in April 2019 – is supported by the BMZ programme “Transboundary Water Management in the SADC region (TWM)” (implemented by GIZ) and aims that “ICM facilitates socio-economic development and adaptation to climate change in Lesotho”. Its specific objective is to institutionalise ICM and is fully functional, based on gender equality and climate adaptation principles.
 
GIZ seeks to procure the services of a contractor (consultancy firm or consortium) to provide support to various management processes of the Action that are grouped into four work packages: 

  1.   Supporting the monitoring system for the Action;
  2.   Facilitating team events and planning workshops;
  3.   Supporting Organisational Development of the ICM Coordination Unit (ICU);
  4.   Supporting Digitalization of the Action’s management processes.

Job description

  • Providing technical support to the establishment of the monitoring system
  • Conceptualising, facilitating and documenting events and workshops
  • Providing technical advice to organisational development matters in the national ICM programme and the ICU
  • Developing digital solutions for management processes and building IT-skills of users

Qualifications

  • Post-graduate university qualification in management science, business administration, public administration or related discipline or IT
  • Very good language skills in English (C1 or equivalent)
  • 10 years of experience in organisational development, or
    or 5 years in monitoring systems  IT-design
  • 5 years of professional experience in facilitation
  • 5 years of experience in the SADC region
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Development Cooperation
