The Government of Lesotho with assistance from UNDP, ILO and UNICEF is implementing the Joint Programme on Economic and Financial Management Integration for the Achievement of SDGs. Under the Joint Program, GoL is developing a Gender Responsive Integrated National Financing Framework (INFF) which is aimed at helping countries to strengthen planning processes and overcome existing impediments to financing National priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the country level. Critical to a successful INFF process is a well-coordinated financing for development environment.
On behalf of the Ministry of Development Planning, UNDP requires services of a Local Consultant to work in collaboration with the International Consultant to finalise the Lesotho Partnership Policy and the CSOs Partnership Policy and develop the implementation frameworks of the two policy documents (policy implementation plans and the monitoring and evaluation frameworks). The two policies will provide a base for mechanisms of cooperation between government with all its development partners including non-state actors towards financing and implementation of national priorities and the SDGS.
