Overview:
With support from the Global Fund (GF) Jhpiego in collaboration with the MOH will be implementing a three year multi -sectoral partnership response project aimed at stepping up universal access to HIV and TB prevention, care and treatment programs in the five maintenance districts, namely: Leribe, Berea, Maseru, Mafeteng and Mohale’s Hoek. Based on aforementioned, Jhpiego is looking for highly qualified candidates to fill in the positions of TB Contact Tracers for the project funded by Global Fund through the Government Principal Recipient (PR), Project Management Unit (PMU)
Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
TB Contact Tracers will work closely with the TB District Supervisors, TB Coordinators and/or offi cers and facility based TB Screeners and Village Health Workers, to trace confirmed TB and COVID-19 cases and conduct TB contact tracing at household and community levels as well as in schools when necessary. The TB Contact Tracers report directly to the TB District Supervisors under TB/HIV Advisor oversight.

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements:
• Minimum qualification is a pass in COSC.
• Experience working in public health programs in Lesotho.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
in both Sesotho and in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability and willingness to travel around Lesotho and in remote and hard to reach
areas both on foot and/or on horseback where needed.
• Should reside in any of the maintenance districts: Berea, Leribe, Maseru, Mafeteng and Mohale’s Hoek
