Position Title: Motion Graphics Project Manager

As the Motion Graphics Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and execution of motion graphics/rich media related projects for our client. The ideal candidate will function as the point of contact on assigned projects that manages the client needs from creative meetings through conception, execution, and delivery. They are the driving force to keep the team, clients, and projects on track. They lead efforts on multiple accounts across a variety of projects that have a motion graphic/rich media component to them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as the main point of contact for Rich Media/Motion Graphics projects and lead them from initial ideation, pre-production, post-production, and delivery of the assets.
  • Interpersonal communication skills to discuss and drive motion graphics/Rich Media projects with clients and account leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, social, photography, and production teams to help create compelling and engaging content.
  • Ensures that all productions support corporate objectives and brand requirements, meeting internal and external quality standards, and effectively meet the clients’ goals.
  • Develops strong relationships with internal studios to establish and maintain a reliable and timely flow of information and materials to all parties as necessary for assigned projects.
  • Works with editorial team and Art Directors to visualize concepts and data
  • Compile project estimates
  • Work across departments to ensure work is completed on time and within approved budgets
  • Manage deliverable budgets, deadlines, and internal review processes
  • Ensures all creative assets align to our internalagencies brand guidelines and adhere to our high standards of consistency and quality
  • Act as an internal liaison; facilitating open communication between teams
  • Provide status of timeline, profitability, and progress on all assigned projects during weekly status meetings
  • Manage client and internal status updates
  • Organize and lead internal and client meetings and provide actionable notes/recaps

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor of degree in Fine Arts, Graphics Design, or Digital Media
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager role in a creative, audio/visual department of an organization leading graphics, motion graphics, animation, or interactive design projects in a digital environment.
  • Possesses a deep passion and understanding of digital media, traditional media and brand marketing
  • Solid understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed project plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings
  • Knowledge of Motion Graphics/Rich Media production workflow and process are preferred
  • Experience using Project Management Software (MS Project, Basecamp, Workfront)
  • Proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator are required.
  • Knowledge of Cinema 4D and Adobe Premire is a plus
  • Experience with workflow management software
  • Design and creative agency experience a must
  • Experience working within Corporate Brand guidelines is a must
  • Proven track record in prioritizing competing projects
  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and minimal supervision
  • Superb written and verbal communications skills
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Professional, friendly demeanor with solid organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
  • Working with motion graphics experience is a must
  • Proficient at using all Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and use other software programs quickly.
  • Ability to effectively work with a global team located in different parts of the world
