Morija Museum and Archives has re-opened its doors to the public. However, this will be carried out cautiously, in compliance with COVID-19 directives.

The re-opening includes the use of other facilities such as the amphitheatre and hiking trails to dinosaur footprints. To ensure the safety of our visitors and staff, the museum will operate under guidelines and regulations from our government.

Some of these are: a maximum of 50 people will be allowed on our premises; this number will further be rationed to a maximum of 10 visitors per exhibition room and a recommended safe distance of 1.5 m will be maintained between visitors; all visitors are obliged to wear face masks and it is compulsory for visitors to sanitize hands on arrival.

For contact tracing, the museum will obtain contact details of visitors (name, phone number, physical and email addresses) at the entrances and admission points. Visitors are encouraged not to visit in large groups, thus group visits should be booked and will be defined to specific time slots. Guided tours will be provided at a safe distance between guides and visitors.

Individuals who appear unwell or show symptoms of COVID-19 will be turned away and encouraged to seek medical attention.

The museum is open everyday!
Monday-Saturday 08:30 a.m to 17:00 p.m
Sunday-12:00 p.m to 17:00 p.m
