Position Overview
ADRA Lesotho is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to serve as Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (MER) Officer for the Maternal Aid for Mothers Assurance (MAMA) Project. The MER Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems to monitor project performance, assess results, and promote learning. This position plays a critical role in ensuring data quality, accountability, and evidence-based decision-making across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Design and implement M&E tools and establish performance targets
- Collect, validate, and analyze project data using digital platforms
- Conduct data quality assessments and generate infographics and reports
- Provide mentorship and support to project field staff on MER practices
- Organize learning and feedback sessions with stakeholders
- Support accountability mechanisms and documentation of lessons learned
- Ensure compliance with ADRA and donor MER standards
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences, or similar with 3 years’ relevant experience
OR
Diploma in a similar field with 7 years of relevant M&E experience in donor-funded programs - Certification in M&E, Data Analysis, or MEAL systems is an added advantage
- Strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and reporting
- Experience with tools like Excel, KoboToolbox, and SPSS
- Fluency in English and Sesotho
- Ability to travel and work in rural or hard-to-reach areas
- Being a committed and practicing Christian
