We have an outstanding opportunity for an Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Operations Officer in our Strategy, Portfolio, Partnerships and Digital Division (SPED).
The Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Operations Officer is part of the wider Assistant Secretary-General’s SPPD team. This team has responsibility to: Support and improve the planning process at project, programme and organisational levels; strengthen the quality of monitoring, evaluation and learning across the organisation through provision of advice, development of tools and procedures as well as design and delivery of training to Divisions and senior management. The successful candidate Assist SPPD colleagues in the review and development of the Secretariat’s 4-year Strategic Plan and development of the annual Delivery Plan. You will also work closely with teams to ensure timely inputs into the Secretariat’s Programme Management and Information System.
To be considered for this post, you will need to have a degree in development studies, international relations, economics, public administration or related field. In addition, you will have a minimum of three years working experience in international development programmes, in a government planning agency or an international/inter-governmental organization or civil society/private sector environment.
